SPECIESLINE US · ALBERVOS

About & evidence

SpeciesLine US helps you find published urgent and emergency veterinary contacts for your animal’s species, with receiving limits and original sources in view.

A selected starting edition

The dataset contains 22 researched intake locations across 18 US states, 134 species-group evidence records and 50 distinct primary-source URLs. The recorded source-review date is 2026-10-25. This is a dated research snapshot, not a complete national census or a live service-status feed. No veterinary facility was contacted to confirm current receiving, staffing, fees or capacity. There is no automatic refresh.

A selected starting directory of 22 US veterinary facilities across 18 states and four regions, focused on species-specific urgent and emergency intake. Coverage is incomplete and is not a ranking or endorsement.

Read the evidence before you travel

Published urgent / ER service
Primary sources link the named species group to urgent or emergency care. Published conditions still apply.
Call to confirm species intake
The sources qualify intake, limit a service, or do not fully establish the species-to-emergency link. Call the hospital; this label does not confirm admission.
Routine / unclear evidence
These records appear only through the broader evidence filter. Explicitly excluded species never appear as matches.

A species group does not establish care for every animal within it. A 24/7 facility schedule does not establish overnight exotic receiving, specialist presence, or available space. Call the listed branch, state the exact species and concern, and ask about the correct entrance, referral conditions and current receiving.

What the app does

Filter by species group, region, covered state, keyword and intake evidence. Review receiving notes and their source links. Save up to three locations in this browser, compare their selected-species limits and copy a call checklist. Phone and maps links open only when you choose them.

The app does not diagnose symptoms, decide whether care can wait, book appointments or send messages. It does not calculate live distances, open-now status, wait times or admission capacity. Evidence order is not a quality ranking. The interface is in English (United States).

Sources and public downloads

Primary operator and university web sources were reviewed on 25 October 2026. Evidence is recorded per location and species group. Explicit means a primary source links that group to urgent or emergency care; conditional preserves a limited service or incomplete link; unknown is not acceptance. Routine exotic care and blanket exotics wording are not expanded to all species. Published schedules do not establish live receiving, current capacity or continuous specialist presence. No operator was contacted. Phone formatting and two referral-field corrections are documented in the normalization notes; regional originals are preserved.

Individual records retain source URLs, review dates, access limitations and species-specific conditions. Review dates describe past research; they do not guarantee that a page or policy remains current. Missing or uncertain evidence stays qualified.
